New York - Wrap Up

New York has been cool, but I am still struggling with the experience. There are great things to see (mainly buildings) and to experience (the pulse of the city) but it is a bit too much. As much as I liked (or even loved) London, I always thought it was a bit stressful and noisy. London is a ghost town compared to New York! It is bearable, at times even exciting, as a tourist and perhaps for a couple of months but I think couldn’t cope with it for a longer period of time.

An extreme summary of things that were great: Brooklyn Heights, walking across Brooklyn Bridge, the sunset on Manhattan’s streets (reflecting on the glass of the buildings and the cabs), Highline Park, and the Museum of Modern Art.

I didn’t have time to look at the pictures I took of New York yet. Some few are on my Flickr account already, others will follow.

Enjoy your weekend,

PS: It took me a day longer to get home due to a delay of my Iceland Express flight. My general recommendation (not only because of the delay): Don’t book a flight with them! It is a shitty airline!!!
